idk the guy your talkin about
the hardest ive faced was the vampire in that one city where you go to the cave, i had to shoot him 2 times, that was tough lol
i killed the girl getting married, i just shot here then looked as everyone attacked me, went to 3rd person just to be like " yeah, im a bad azz " then i killed everyone that came to me, then i killed anyone that looked at me, then i left came back and all i heard was " did you hear the emperors cousin got killed " it was a massive dissapointment
is that a mod, because i thought vanilla stopped at lvl 60 and if its a mod then im not interested
but from what you said it just sounds like a remake of the tribunal ebony armor guy which was massively hard and it was a supreme ♥♥♥♥♥ to outrun him, have to hit him with ice just to get away, then there was the other guy you had to kill which had even more bad azz aromor <--- this is all like lvl 30 chit on morrowind, prob like lvl 90 on skyrim
in morrowind to get glass armor you had to go to solthstiem to a frozen cave and kill 1 guy, otherwise you hade ot enter the " glass armor hall of fame " it was bunches of people with glass armor, i only made it out 1 time and they keep chasing you, they dont be li9ke " oh chit, he hit a loading screen " they didnt give a CHIT, i ran, i ran so far away, i couldnt get away O_O
and actually the solsteim crap for skyrim has the same cave for the massive amounts of crap in it but its realy nothing in comparison, i dont think you even get 50k gold in skyrim where you get like 300k in morrowind ( the treasure trove ) but in skyrim you have to fight a boss which i just shot 1 time in sneak and it was over so idk why he was even there
50k in skyrim you can get anything you want, 50k in morrowind, you can make an enchantment that is somewhat subpar and if you F ' D up then sucks to be you, im mean 50k = like 10 points fire damage per strike <--- this is like a lvl 8-10 ish accomplishment <--- this is like 60-100 ish skyrim lvl to get this now in actuall skyrim then you only have to be lvl 1 to get this
i didnt really look at that but is that based on what they did in morrowind ?
ok i forgot, giants are a severe pain, especially when you realized you accidently POd 2 at 1 time lol
ok just looked at it, kind of vague but its sounds bout right and why hell you got to be lvl 80, that just moronic lol, now it makes me want to farm to get to it though, but to play 1 game for a single aspect i doubt i will ever meet the ebony warrior :/
it just sounds like " so your bored, you best get to lvl 80 to meet the bad azz " type thing, he was an extremely hard battle in morrowind though, took thought, power, magic, you had to use everything, he was quite possibly the hardest non boss there has ever been, he was just the guy sayin " so, you got all this crap, all this power, you think you a bad azz " and you were like " hellz yeah " then you had to run lmao
Read his post. He didn't say giants......he said Karstaag. Now theres a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difference between those two.
But you should know that because:
Obvious noob is obvious.
this
The vast majority of enemies are pushovers on legendary _if_ you're into the crafting trinity (uskp included), but even so, there are a couple enemies (or to be more precise, encounters) which will definitely make you use some planning, strategy, or chug a decent amount of pots to get past them. From the top of my head:
- At level 40+, some casters (like a certain follower of Boethia at Boethia's shrine) can cast a 200 damage fireball, to a toon that has permanent 69% magic resistance (2x27% from max enchanted resist magic jewelry, +15% from Mara's perk). Granted, at level 40 you can probably put +100% resist fire/frost/electricity on a single potion, but you do have to craft your potions and use them, otherwise you eat two or three of those AoEs and that's all she wrote.
- Damage-wise, level-scaled strong dragons (elders at lvl 30+, ancient at 40+, etc) can kill your toon with a few strikes and take down a sizeable chunk of health with their breath attacks, even against 69% resist magic toons (unless it's a frost attack and you're a nord). Unfortunately, it seems to me the devs made stunlocking dragons a bit too easy by spamming standing power attack. Most of them can also be paralyzed. But, to me these qualify as tough because you need to use specific attack patterns or enchants or poisons, and they can make quick work of your toon if you get too confident.
- Though not properly "an enemy", high-level Unrelenting force users backed by archers can tear you to shreds in no time. Even well past armor cap and 600 health, if a shout drops you to the floor while at full heatth a couple archers can kill you before you can get up. I suspect there's some kind of error (maybe an oversight) in Bethesda's code because the damage you take from arrows on legendary seems awkwardly disproportionate. I used to think it could be due to poisoning (I first noticed that huge damage spikes against falmer archers, which usually carry poisons), but I've been taking the 50% poison resistance perk from alchemy tree because of that and those arrows still deal inordinate amounts of damage.
Sometimes when you enter a thread with this kind of topic it's hard to distinguish who's posting actual info and who's just trying to show off. I've played more than my good share of Skyrim + Dragonborn on legendary, and I can positively tell you you will get yourself into many tight spots and will have your share of reloads (though not everyday), even with a geared-up-to-the-gills, max-alchemy-enchanting-smithing toon. For many fights you need to use solid tactics and gear; in that respect, Bethesda probably let some overpowered combos slip in, such as muffle + invisibility, different 85% resistance layers for an effective 97.75% magical damage reduction -with available recipes for >85% fire, frost, and electric resistances on a single potion, no less-, or Volendrung + standing power attack + Fus perk, in my experience a guaranteed, quick, non-stamina-limited infinite stunlock against any enemy that isn't immune or heavily resistant to stun. That knowledge, gear and tactics, however, isn't immediate and doesn't come for free, and if you have to learn all that and craft your potions, get your gear, and play your tactics to put all that to good use, then it means you're facing some strong opposition.
He's added in the Dragonborn DLC.
