Can't make jewelry with flawless gems...
I have 10 Flawless Sapphires and 6 Flawless Emerald and 60 Gold Ingots but both "Gold Emerald Ring" and "Gold Sapphire Ring" are dimmed out because it says I don't have those gems.

Can you make these pieces of jewelry with flawless gems?

Game does not care about description, only IDs. Flawless gems have different IDs than standard ones, so if they are not included with crafting recepies then you can't use them to that purpose.

Kind of silly that you can't make a better version of lower recepie with flawless gems.

flawless ones are used in quests so save them.

So what is the point of having flawless games that doesn't have a flawless section in the forge? Also this link seems to say you can turn Flawless Emerald into jewelry.[www.uesp.net] However it doe say silver and not gold.

yup..Madesi in Rften for instance needs 3 flawless sapphires ieg.

Ok, I did confirm it does allow me to make silver but not gold. Not sure why they would design it so you can only make silver jewelry with flawless?

Anyway, I'm going to keep them around for quest like recommended.

Already read that and didn't really answer why I couldn't create a gold Emerald ring with Flawless Emerald.

I still think it's odd design choice to not allow you to create gold jewelry with flawless emerald and Sapphire.
