Killed Vald, still have his quest though

So, i accidentally killed Vald. Well, as soon as i exited the thieves guild he attacked me, and i was wearing Ebony Mail so it poisoned him, lol.

Then i was stupid enough to talk to Maven later on, and activating his Quill quest. So what do i do? I haven't found the quill yet, but i just know this quest will bug out and qwon't complete.

What console command do i use? Can't find anything. Need this out of my Misc section, already clogging my quest list.

Hold your breath go swimming for it in lake can be fustrating to find. Maven sort tells the location.
Yes I never get pass the fight or to talk to him about it but still search fhe house for the thieves guild.

So, do you get money for completing it after Vald is gone? Oh, and on my new save I sent him to Markath.

Also it really is annoying I swam over the whole lake like ten times!

Yes, you get money, and you have to deliver a letter to him then.

Though...he's dead...so what do i do?
