Building house glitch hearthfire! (SOLVED)

I can't buiild a house on Windstand manor it completly glitches anything that I build won't appear!! I reloaded another save and tried it again still nothing! help?

Have you been able to build other Hearthfire houses (Lakeview, Heljarchen)?

Haven;t tried that yet.

No worries. I wanted to see if it was specific to Winstead.

Just to be sure, you first went to the Drafting Table, selected an option (starting with the Small House), had all the necessary building materials in your personal inventory (except sawn logs that won’t appear there), then went to the Carpenter’s Workbench, selected the Foundation, then clicked ‘Yes’ in response to ‘Create this Item?’ (or something like that), and still nothing appeared?

There's always the chance that the download is corrupted and you have to redownload the DLC.

Yes that but then it said again that i need to go to the draft table again but nothing was in there..

I’m lost. Are you just beginning the Small House? Did you already build the Small House and now cannot build the Main Hall? Did you click on ‘HOUSE’ in the left-hand column?

IIRC, if there are no options at the Drafting Table and you’re just beginning, you probably have to complete building the Small House first. All the Small House options should show up at the Carpenter’s Workbench, starting with the Foundation. Windstad Manor[www.uesp.net] doesn’t seem to have any particular bugs the other houses don’t have.

It shouldn’t say you need to go to the Drafting Table unless you’ve already completely built the Small House. The Carpenter’s Workbench should still have all the options for building the Small House in stages, starting with the Foundation, then Floor, Framing, and all the rest. Until you finish it, the Drafting Table will not offer you any other options.

There are some bugs reported in the UESP Construction[www.uesp.net] article, with suggested fixes. I never had the problems you’re experiencing, so I’m out of ideas.

I’ll stay subscribed to this discussion anyway, in case you discover something I can help with.

The only other thing I might suggest is that you be sure to scroll down the left-hand column if it is blank. Sometimes, items that should be in the left-hand column are out-of-sight above or below the visible area.

You might also consider explaining your problem to Bethesda Support, telling them that you’ve already posted here, have searched UESP, and couldn’t find a solution. If you find out what the problem is and how to solve it, please post your solution here. That will help others who encountered the same problems.

disable hearthfire and start it again from scratch

i am having a similar problem at lake side. i can start a house but when i run out of materials and go gather them and come back I have NO OPTIONS to craft

Ok guys for me it was this. The birds and flocks thing, didn't work. Turning off all mods, didn't work. Verifying Cache...dind't work. I was at the end of my rope....After uninstalling and reinstalling Hearthfire 9 times I noticed something when I was in-game when it was uninstalled

I killed the TROLL, reinstalled and low and behold. It was working just fine. House showed up right, everything built right. This is for WINDSTAD MANOR. Havent tested the others yet but I'm guessing that what causes it. Creature spawn point is making it glitch for everyone. Which is why the turning off MODS sometimes work for people and sometimes not.

I get this glitch on Lakeview. And when I got to the drafting table it says to remove workbenches to rooms I haven't even built. And to convert the small house to an entry hall when I haven't even built the main hall.

Keep in mind I have fully built Winstad
