Translating Mods...
Hi guys, do you know how to translate the "MCM part" of a mod ? I mean, all the text in the Main Menu which lets you to customize a mod. A lot of mods have that Menu now (thanks to SKSE and SkyUI), but I can't figure out how to translate it (I can translate the whole rest of the mod though).

Translate from what? To what?
Jouchebag Jan 4, 2014 @ 3:30pm
That's a damn technical question, friend. You'd have better luck with the Nexus forums.
The MCM is the mod menu, incidentally those involved in mods that are extended from the game..Say Sky UI4 or Frostfall features that menu...what is it that you are having issues with? The language?

Please, elaborate more on your point...

In addition, translate; in modding terms, or game design terms is simply regarding positioning an object, or point of reference upon the 2, X + Y dimentional plain...What exactly is your question's context?

Translate from English to another language, I don't think it matters what language. Isn't it the same process for all the languages supported by the game ?

Anyway, Jouchebag, thanks for the advice, I'll try there too.
Yeah while you're there...might be a good idea to ask the public, same as here, what frickin language..yeah? As unfortunately...none of us are psychic mind readers...not even over at 'the nexus'...

Dan, calm down, I was just asking, I'm not an expert in this argument... geez. Anyway, I'll try to be clearer. There are a lot of English mods that I would like to translate into my language (Italian) and I can't figure out how to translate all the menus that a mod comes with. I managed to translate all the in game contents of the mod (like spells, weapons, armors, creatures etc...) but not the menus (MCM). Is it clear now ? Anyway I don't think I'm able to explain the problem better than this.
My apologies my Italian counterpart...

My first thought would be...google translate? But then again, you are in-game and wanting to see if there is an Itallian translatio for the MCM menu, yeah, I get it, sorry...

erm...Forgive me for being a tight ass ♥♥♥♥. If I were you, untill a solution is posted, I would google translate the words, after writing them all down, (not ALL, but the ones that you are unsure about) Sorry I cant be of more help. Again, I apologise.

For once Dan wasn't helpful... it's a sad day indeed. :rshocked:

No, seriously, I think the Nexus has forums dedicated to mod creation. That's the place to try.
More specifically, the mod author's post page (on his mod) is actually the specific place to post a question like this. The author will be best person to advise you on his/team's mod configuration regarding language translation, rather than just asking the general public on Steam discussions or in the nexus forums.
