Folgunthur lever puzzle without solution
I'm in Folgunthur where there are 2 levers in the left and 2 in the right that control 4 gates, but in my game it doesn't have solution. Considering the levers with up and down states (2 states), there are a total of 16 conbinations. I tryed ALL of them and none worked. Anyone knows what is happening?

As I said: I tryed ALL combinations, including the one explained there.

Have you then gone and pulled the chain, Rex? Once the combination has been set. It's not obvious the two are connected. I expected once you got the sequence correct there would be some indication...

I didn't see any chain and didn't see any reference to it in any walkthrough. What I did was find a combination where the last gate is closed and the others oppen with one lever close the first and oppen the last. I stay in the middle and send my follower to pull the lever, allowing me to pass, but without my followe.

First lever on left - up, second lever on right - up, thats it.

IIRC, levers do not open or close doors in that puzzle. Levers change the state of one or more doors in that puzzle: for instance, if lever (a) governs doors number 2 and 3 it will open any one of those doors that are closed, and close any of those two doors that are open. Therefore what matters is what sequence you are following when pulling the levers, not which particular levers end up facing up or down.

I just played through the same puzzle Last night. When i got to the levers they were all down. I flipped the 1st on the left up and then the 2nd on the right up and all the gates rolled up and I walked through!!!!

lol i think ive accidently super solved this " puzzle " every time ive played through skyrim, i thought " levers " then just flipped 1, looked aound see what happend, flipped another and i could procede, idk if i actually hit the right combination or all you have to do is hit 2 random levers lol

I can confirm that the order matters here. The puzzle does not reset when all the levers are down. I observered several different "starting" configurations while beating my head against this puzzle. The correct configuration for the first left, second right sequence is all four gates down. Other configurations don't work.
