Unofficial Skyrim Patch uninstall problem?
Recently, I tried to uninstall the unofficial skyrim patch (USKP) and when i deactivated it with Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) it seemed to work fine. So, I tried to launch Skyrim through the skyrim script extender and it crashes after the bethesda logo! I also use the unofficial hearthfire, dragonborn, and dawnguard patch, but I don't mind getting rid of them if they are the problem. Can anyone tell em why this is happening?

Those other patches require the vanilla skyrim patch.

You shouldn't need to get rid of the Unofficial Patches. They do their job and are perfectly compatible with all mods that matter.

do you mean the unofficial skyrim patch, or just the latest version of skyrim?

Those three DLC Unofficial Patches require the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.

Alright, i tried uninstalling all of the patches, and it does the same thing!

It's a problem with other mods, most likely.

All the Unoffical patchs are MUST HAVE mods.

But it was running fine until i tried to uninstall the unofficial patch, and if it's active there are no problems. So I don't think it has to do with other mods

i plan on activating them again later, but i need to deactivate the main one now to fix the draugr glowing eyes bug

Aren't draugr supposed to have glowing eyes?

Deactivating those mods in the middle of the game might break what they fix. They're designed to be used with a new game and not turned off. I can't guarantee the safety of what you're trying to do. You should go back to a save before you turned off the USKP. Seriously.

ya, but it's on my character here's a link to a video that shows the problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pr7ld1Gazc (i tried the fix and it didn't work, i also read that it won't work if you have the unofficial patch)

If you uninstall the Unofficial Patches, then you need to start a new game.

If it's crashing after the Bethesda logo, then there's a different mod that depends on the UKSP; you just need to figure out which mod is causing the issue.

That post says to disable it, use the console command to fix the eyes, then immediately reenable the patch--you're not supposed to move around, load new cells, or play the game at all with the patch off. Did you?

Even if you didn't, and followed the guide to the letter, I don't think you're supposed to turn off the USKP like that, ever.

well, i still can't seem to fix the eyes, and i can't even move around or do anything with the patch off, since the game crashes after the bethesda logo
