WTH DEXION EVICUS: A Dawnguard Problem (FIXED)

Ok. Can anyone help me or answer this question; WHY DOES DEXION EVICUS, THE MOTH PRIEST ALWAYS KEEPS ON ATTACKING ME? I MEAN, I COULD SOLVE THIS PROBLEM IF I WAS AN IMPERIAL, BUT I'M A BRETON. A BRETON. I really need this problem solved. And this problem even goes on all the time, so don't ask me if it only happened THAT one time. It's the same NPC, etc, etc.

sounds like you hit a bug, you need the unoffical Dawnguard patch. and put it right under Dawnguard.esm in your load order. i recommend you install all the unoffical patchs to match your game.

Can you show me how to do this? I have no experience with looking into the game's files.

Maybe I'll load the game in the cavern again and defeat him. I'll see if that works.

It actually worked. The problem is fixed. What happened was it said "Defeat the enthralled moth priest". It didn't say that last time. Case closed. Next time, save at each cave

the unoffical patchs are mods not files, do you have The Nexus mod manager

make lots of saves, but never let your saves go over 30 or 35 saves in total
