Investigate the Bard's College: Did all the quests but it still won't Complete..

As the tital says I have done every quest in the Bard's College but I still have the Quest Investigate The Bard;s College. With the marker going to the Master. Now he did say Talk to Gereard Germain about Dragons [his books in the library] , but Gerard Doens't have anything to say about books or dragons. And a thorough examination of all the books in the Bard's College doesn't result in any information on dragons.

How do you complete this mission without useing the Console Commands?

The quest should've been completed the first time you talked to Viarmo, but since it wasn't, your best bet is using the console to get rid of it.

I had the same problem. It corrected itself after I completed all the side quests, i.e. find the drum,flute and lute for the instructors and helped with King Olofs Verse and became a full bard at the effigy burning.

I already have finished all bard side quests , and became a full bard, but like the post says the investigate quest still won't flag done. This has occured in every one of the 23 play thru's I have done, and I suppose it will continue in future games.
