Fortify Conjuration enchant
The big 2 wiki sites both say fortify conjuration enchantments decrease the mana cost of the spells, but I can verify this is not true. Even after a 40% conjuration enchant all spells in that school still cost the same. So my next thought was maybe they increase the summon duration like the potion, but this doesn't seem to be the case either.

My only other guess is that maybe it simply increases the damage the minions deal... can anyone shed some light on this?

Edit: I forgot to mention that the tooltip in the inventory says "conjuration spells are X% more powerful" but this seems really ambiguous.

Your vertication on this subject needs more clarification. I've yet to encounter an enchant in 'vanilla' Skyrim with "Conjuration spells are X% more powerful," If your talking the matter about 'Conjuration spells cost X% less" then you would need to fortify it completely up to 100% to do so. Is it an enchant from a mod?

I have a few mods installed but nothing that involves enchanting, but now you have me curious. I'll disable some and see what happens.

Edit: OK that was it, I'm a dope. The mod "Skyrim Improved Magic System" apparently overhauled the enchants along with the spells.

Thanks for the help.
