heh, yeah im from scandinavia and me and my family are blonde/ related to the vikings and yes I play the "nords" they kind of reminds me of the vikings/normandy.
Not only that, one of my families last names are "lejon" which means =lion given as a warrior name from a war (forgot which) so I need to man up and fight back :p

High Elf in da hood...
One click of his finger,
Burn y'all to a cinder,
High Elf in dahoooood!
A blessing to Talos, by Master Dan:
The Thalmor didst approach me,
In the dead of the night,
His face all pale,
He gave m-me a f-f-fright.
I said what do you want?
He said 'The Amulet' please,
And he ripped it from me
With cold fingered ease.
I said 'Why you do that?
He said 'Why do you think?'
Talos is Forbidden,
My heart didst sink..
From the corner of mine eye,
I spied a dark silouette.
Twas a ranger, bow drawn,
I started to sweat...
The Thalmor raised arm,
To smite me but then -
An arrow shot clean into
The Thalmor's head
I froze, Elf blood,
splat over my face,
But the ranger was gone -
Without a trace...
'Thankyou' I whispered,
Divines, bless you all!
I knew it was Talos...
He won't let me fall.
Rise up fellow children,
Let your hearts shine!
Oh TALOS, we build thee
This wondrous Shrine!
This whole "oh, the poor Nords being victims held hostage by the Altmer" is an inaccurate interpretation of the histories. After all, it was the invasion of the lands and the killing of the elves that lead to Skyrim being inhabited by Nords in the first place. A more accurate interpretation is that the White Goled Concordat was an agreement for the Altmer to have a more controlling interest throught political measures. The books in the game allude to this almost as much as other sources on the internet.
U sir- I bow down thy greatness. ^3^
Man and Mer are from the same ancestry, the Ehlnofey, when the 12 worlds were in unison...created by Anu...Padomay destroyed the 12 worlds, dispersing the inhabitants...In the debris, came Nirn, from the battle between Anu and Padomay, and fragments of the 12 worlds landed on the new born Nirn...the first to arrive on Nirn were the ones who were to become the High Elves...their brothers landed soon after, and attempted to reunite with them, but they fended them off from their newly made territory...In other words, the High Elves, the Thalmor - kicked Man out of Tamriel and later...Man fought for it's place in the world that was Nirn...
The Irony is, that Man and Mer are from the same origin. But Mer decided to seperate itself from it's cousins, who evolved into Man. :'(
