Sawn logs not delivered

I've tried buying logs from mutiple mills and I do buy them but they are never delivered to my home. any sugestions on how to fix this?

Just use the build house bench, should show in list needed to complete say floor,wall etc, with nails and stone. They don,t actully deliver the timber, that comes up when you build.

Did you visit any of the lumber mills and buy the timber?

You start off with logs and you buy more as you build either through sawmills or your appointed steward.
Mine you I did have this problem way back when I first tried, Mix Water Mill is highlighted sometime to buy timber from that ulgy vampire but just go and do something else and see if other mills will deliver on the way.

I don't see how the delivery is a thing... The logs are in your inventory, they are just one of those invisible items, weightless and unselectable. They are never "delivered" per say, they are added to your inventory upon purchasing/cutting the lumber yourself. Also you need to be in good terms with the sawnmill owner to cut the lumber yourself.
Use console command and type player.showinventory, page up and page down to find out how many logs are in your inventory. If there are none, that means you need to buy the logs from sawnmill owners.

I have both bought the timber and cut it myself. I know that it is an invisible item but i figured not everyone know so i just said never delivered. What I meant by that was that it is not going into my inventory when i buy or cut it. Yes I am on good terms with the sawmill owner.

Maybe you have a mod blocking it.

Have you tried getting a steward and buying through them? If that doesn't work check your mods like Kelvy says. If still the problem persists verify your game cache, and try reinstalling if all else fails

Another solution is cheating (not what most people do, but it works...) . All you need to do is press the ~ key on your keyboard, and type "help sawn," and you will get a code for Sawn Logs. After that, type, "player.additem (Code for logs) (quantity) .

I could buy logs at Half-Moon Hill, but they wouldn't work when I cut them myself. However, Hern (the log merchant) ended up dying in a dragon attack. Now, I am also stuck in this situation.

The Lumber will appear on the ground near your home as long cut logs and when you go near the pile there will be a counter that hovers over the logs telling you how many you have in the log pile.

If you have more than one piece of land I would check the other sites. It's possible the logs are being delivered to the wrong site.

Make sure you have Hearthfires in the correct load order and the Unofficial Hearthfires patch.

Edit: Forgot to mention that some respawning mods such as birds, trees, grass etc can interfere with your Hearthfire sites. So if you have these, try disabling them (not deleting) to see if that makes any difference.
