1. To use a console command to add items to your inventory, you first need to know what the console code is for the item. wiki lists all console commands on it's site. The easiest way to find the code for the item you want to add is to google Skyrim and name of item. Like skyrim ebony ingots for example. One of the top search results will be one of two wiki sites and both will list the items code on the right hand site of that items wiki page
2. Once you have the items code, start up Skyrim, once you are in the game press the tilde key `, it's the one right above the tab key. a small interface will open at the bottom left of you screen. type the following; player.additem xxxxxxx 1 and hit enter, the item will be added to your inventory. xxxxxxxx is the item code you got from wiki and the number 1 is the quanity of the item you want to add. if you want 100, then type that instead of 1. Make sure you add the period after the word player and a space between item and the items code. also a space between the items code and the quanity you want of that item.
Keep in mind that the search string has to be a single word.
This command will return a list of matches for the word "dress".
You'll want to search for matches with the MISC prefix.
Imagine for a second that the item code of what you're looking for is 0204B73. The 02 is the load order for that DLC also meaning it could be 01, 03, 04 you get the idea. The 04B73 does not change. Ever. When spawning it in you press the ~ (tilde) button and type in: player.additem 0204B73 #. Just replace the # sign with however many of that item you want.
You can also find the ID's of items by typing in: help itemname 4. What that other guy didn't tell you is items with more than one word in their name can also be searched for; you just put quotations around it. For example Daedric Battleaxe would be: help "daedric battleaxe" 4.
Well, now I feel stupid in FO4 forum.
