My save files are becoming too large?
I heard that I should start worrying once my save files go above 20mb. Mine are already above 35mb due to me trying to 100% the game. I have only a few mods and the only one to worry about is Warzones 2015 (got this so I could keep on killing Imperials, and my kill count is already in the 20000s XD). I know this mod has contributed quite a lot to the large file size but the only problem I have is the inability to enter Winterhold and Dawnstar. Fast traveling to these places result in instant crashes and manually going near them and saving/ entering buildings causes instant CTD. I don't care too much about the random CTDs that happen every hour or 2, I just want to be able to enter these 2 cities again, and I'm afraid that I won't be able to enter other cities soon enough. Any solutions?

Edit: I have verified game cache, cleaned out all my saves and also organized with LOOT, deleted many past saves to clean up some space despite my computers 4TB memory size, and even tried reinstalling the game. Nothing seems to work... Anyone know of a solution?
(Keep in mind that I can confirm that Warzones 2015 is not the cause of my CTDs in Dawnstar and Winterhold as I have disabled EVERY single battle recently except for the one outside of Whiterun, and I have also tried making a seperate save file with this mod disabled and I still crash in Dawnstar and Winterhold)

Go to your general stats and go to combat. It will display how many people you have killed. Mine is exactly 20013 people killed XD

That's the one I use. I have already used it and it says 0 scripts removed, which means that it is not a problem with my mods. I cannot figure out what the problem is.

File size will always grow as your game progress.
There is a lot of data and information out there about what is the 'limit' for what size your files should be and what they shouldnt surpass etc etc, but a lot of it very heavily depends on your load order, and especially what your original first save file is. If you start with a 4mb file, then 20mbs is probably significant save bloat and well on the way to corruption. if you start with a 12mb file (can happen with some intensive load orders, even if they are stable, although thats probably pushing it) then 20mb isnt that much in the long term for a save file.
Regardless 35mb is a significant file size, and the biggest problem that you might end up having is that there is so much to load the game ends up skipping out on scripts or data. Generally the open cities are the first to see problems because they load so much data without the buffer of a wall or loading screen like the five major cities have.

As far as your problem with the cities, if you want help with that post your load order and specs and ill see if i can identify anything in particular that might be causing any additional problems besides warzones 2015.

Have you tried going into a small area (like a player house) and waiting 31 days? That can reduce savegame size by resetting cells.

Here is a mod that might help. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12625/?

I got this from my plugins.txt file but it seems to be missing 4 mods: Warzones 2015, equipping overhaul, stealth kills, and lotr weapons collection (they are still in effect though so idk why it's not showing on this list). I started my game from a little more than 6mb and now its a little more than 34mb, so I am kinda worried, especially about the fact I can't even go near 2 cities now, and using console commands to get near a npc in that city also fails.

Edit: No, my plugins file is missing more mods?! I have a body/face mod for lydia,UFO, run for your lives vampire/dragon, static mesh improvement mod, and the respawn mod which makes everything respawn in 1 day (could this be the problem?)

Yep, it seems that save bloat is definitely your issue there over mods, and I would suspect Warzones being a prime culprit, especially with so few other mods in your game, let alone with a lot of data happening. The previous version of the mod had some extreme issues, and while the author has claimed to have fixed most of them, I keep seeing reports of people having it installed and it causing problems so I'm personally not sold on it right now.
With save bloat so big as well theres really nothing you can do to cut it down at this stage.
Sorry to hear that you lost a save though, I know that always sucks :(

Would getting rid of warzones help? I heard it is a very bad idea to uninstall this mod

DO NOT uninstall it midgame. That will definitely corrupt your save in some way, no two ways around it. ANY mod that runs heavy scripts is not save to uninstall from a save game without reverting to an earlier save in which it wasnt present.

If that's the case, am I just supposed to start a new game or something? I'm not too worried because I can just use console commands and setstage to get to where I'm currently at, but that would erase all my stats (don't know why I care about it but I do XD) as well as all the countless radiant quests I have done. But if that's what I must do to enter towns without CTDs then so be it.

or maybe there is a way to change stats?
