Slaves or Property
I am just curious, if theres an neat mods out there where you can get slaves, or rather people become your properly if thatsa a nicer way of saying it.

I know when you become Thane of Whiterun, Lydia becomes your property and dedicates her services to you. But I was curious if you could obtain more out there.. I noticed theres a guy walking around Riften whos in debt, if I pay of his debt, does he become mine?

Doesnt seem to be anything about slavery forbidden in Skyrim. The Thalmore are taking whoever they want.

Well my character plans to becoem a vampire lord at some stage, I guess turning people technicly makes them mine in a way. But I curious whats else is out there to liven up my game. I am teh Dragonborn after all.

Slavery is forbidden by the Empire and does not belong to lore of Skyrim.

That said, there is a slavery mod in Nexus. It is classed as adult file, so you will have to sign in to see it.

Paradise Halls - Skyrim Slavery WIP by layam
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29886/?

What you can do now
* Enslave people
* Train them as slaves
* Train them to be respectful
* Train them to fight for you
* Slaves can be given equipment to wear
* Slaves can be leashed up to stop them running off (which they'll try to)
* Slaves have a separate backpack for carrying stuff you don't want them to wear.
* All slave dialogue re-uses existing dialogue, so no matter the voice type of the person enslaved, you will hear them talk
* You have a whip (it even leaves whip-marks)
* Sell salves to Master Jerrek in the Fellglow Slave Camp

What you can't do
* Enslave anything which isn't a playable race
* Enslave any 'important' npcs.

Lydia becomes your property??????? She is your Housecarl, a warrior, not an inaminate object. Geesh, talk about give us Aussies a bad name.

Hmmm. Probably into bondage in more ways than one. :-(

Dude chil, its just a game... No need to get so serious over a game. The fact that it IS a game, is why I dont mind a bit of slavery options. Owning the rights to people etc etc.

Thanks for the mod llink, will check that out.

btw, So the empire has banned Slavery, So if Ultric wins ? does that mean he can build a a harem of slaves ? ^_^ It be quite the scene walking into his castle and him being covered in women. It'd been quite harlious if Betheseda had implemented that.

Heh, Ulfric could do that, at least with modded Skyirm. There are also adult mods around this theme as well, but not really in Nexus. They are mostly centered around the player, altought there are now more NPC related mods as well.

There are some slave mods out there, I dont like them. But I know where they are.
And you dont own Lydia in any way, she have only sworn to work for you since you are one Thane in Whiterun, and she can walk away from you if she likes. Did try that once :P

I see, I suppose if you became a disgraced Thane, I guess it be something like the contract becoming anulled.

Interesting, so if Whiterun changes leadership, can you be fired (let go) as a Thane ?

Nope. New Jarl will always back you up as a Thane. After all, rule does not change during (vanilla) Civil War without PC's participation to these events.

That went completely over my head. And I thought I had been exposed to a wide array of things in life and in games. Can anyone explain that without getting us in trouble? :-)

There was also a mod that I saw on the Nexus that let you "enslave" just about anyone in the game with a collar or something. Reminded me of some of the ones in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time a little bit. The mod involved putting a collar on an NPC and it would then "freeze" them so you could take them with you somehow. I think that was how it worked, since I didn't actually use it; just read the description.

Ok, this is it, I believe:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32890/?

And you can't "take them with you", it freezes them into a mannequin and allows you to access their inventory and dress them how you like. Still, very interesting...

That's convenient and very nice of the new jarl. I'm guessing it's an honor/tradition sort of thing? Or possibly a game limitation. ;-)

Well, it would be quite rude move from Vignar to say:

"Thank you, Dragonborn. You were the Thane of Whiterun, set by Balgruuf, but you fought and one the city for Stormcloaks, allowing my clan to rise and take the rule of the city.

For your efforts, I take away your title of Thane. I will also remove your housecarl Lydia from your service and give her to one of my old friends.

Once again, friend: Thank you for your service."

You forgot "And I will confiscate Breezehome from you and the guards will show you the way out" :P

I guess I was thinking along the lines of jarls being dictators, rather than benevolent leaders. :-)
