Changing Followers hair style
Well I loaded up the Creation kit, changed Lydias hair style after a few Lydia mods CTD my game or simply didnt work... So I attempted to make my own try. Which resulted in the grey face bug ? which by searching online, I found a solition to fix that.. But the thing is, if I change her hair to one of the Apachi hair mods... when I load it with the game, nothing changes, like there was no change at all..

I figured I could have a mod conflict. but the problem is .... what? O_O I use Boss and I use Loot (which gives me a blank report) Niether of them seem to fix anything... So its a chance its not a mod conflict. Then I cant figure out whats wrong since I do indeed change to an alternitive hair style. I run both apachii and the skyrim file when making the plugin thing. Then save and make sure the mod is ticked.

Since I cant figure out whats wrong its more like I have to give the idea up, but I was thinking, maybe I am missing something? or someone here might know something I dont O_o.

ps- I have AFT, but unticking it and loading the game didnt change anything.

A lot of things might be touching lydia, even armor mods etc that might give her new equipment or the like. You can try posting your mod list and see if we reognise anything but you might have to look at her record in tes5edit to see if anything is editing her and overriding your change.

Also BOSS won't sort your mods properly any more. Just use LOOT. It requires Internet Explorer to be installed and updated to generate the report which might be part of the problem

Does the Apachii hair mod show up at a required master for your mod?
I think it should, but don't know how to fix it if it doesn't.

I did a console command "help Lydia" as I wanted to move her to me... and it has a line in it saying

Quest: TweakfixLydia (2600fb58)

Could that possibly be a conflict or is that just AFT?

The Lydia mod I created has both Apachii and skyrm shown when I load it on creation kit. I not sure if that was what you ment

There seems to be a few Lydia replacer mods... load one (some) of them into the Creation Kit and see how they do it. It may be easier to replace her than to tweak her. <shrug>
