Windhelm follower & Lydia reviving
Hi, I had Lydia as my first follower and it was amazing, but I accidentally killed her and now I want her back... Is there a way to revive her with cheats?
Also, I became the thane of Windhelm and I have the house and the follower's room, but there seems to be 2 wardrobes inside another, and 2 beds (one owned and one not) but the most annoying thing is that I never even saw my follower in Windhelm (?). What do I do?
Also, how do I change the gear of my followers?

How to change the gear is easy just give them armor that is way better then their owns (i know you cant take their armor) you see the armor look at the armor in the smith then you see wich armor is better wich is lower but the other probs i dont know sry

There is a console command to resurrect NPCs, including your followers. It's not a cheat, necessarily. You can open the console command screen with the tilde ( ~ ) key, then click on Lydia's body. Type 'resurrect' followed by the alphanumeric code displayed when Lydia is selected. Make sure you put a '1' after her ID number or she won't come back with everything she was carrying.

Hope that helps!

You can just click the dead NPC when you typed Resurrect and hit return once the code shows up (or click first then type the ress command and hit return to excecute), no need to type in the code that is displayed. Just thought id mention that, as there not the most type friendly codes most of the time. The 1 is indeed needed unless you want it to spawn a new copy (incase you looted the bodys for example and most stuff is gone, or any other cases you want the NPC to reset to default loadout).

Refferance: Console Commands [elderscrolls.wikia.com]

This obviously goes for most commands that use ID codes, i think even quests if you have the questlog opened and click on a quest name. Its been a while since i had quest issues so im not 100% sure about that.

You are right, indeed. I tend to type out the code, just to get used to the main ones. It eliminates a step when using the PRID command to target a lost follower if you already know their codes. Thank you for mentioning that one doesn't need to type the code if the NPC is already selected. I didn't even think of it. *lol*
