A very interesting dungeon!

So I've been wandering around the reach for the past 20 minutes and I came across a fort called "broken tower redoubt". I entered it from above as its nestled in some mountains. I went straight into the top tower finding a forsworn briar heart inside. I dispatched him easily and removed his heart and ate it. Then inside the room I noticed something. A shrine to Dibella and a statue commonly found in Shrines of Dibella throughout skyrim's holds, however something had been done to the statue. It was absolutely drenched in blood, no doubt from the forsworn ritual's. I thought wow that's gross, isnt Dibella the god of love beauty and sex? What a dark undertone that blood puts for what went on in that room. As i began exploreing more of the ruin i found more forsworn to butcher and loot. Before long I noticed something. Every single forsworn I had found outside the tower with the male briar heart... was female... Now I would love it if someone else would go venture to this place out in the Reach and tell me if all the forsworn are also women for them, Because i think i found a forsworn rape dungeon or something. Let me know if they are all women for you too! cause this might be one of the most subtle and dark dungeons in the game!

Sorry for the book but I just thought wow, the story behind this place is too cool to not post about.

Broken Tower Redoubt is part of a quest you get from Azura when you go looking for her Star. In order to get to the quest-location, you have to fight your way through it. Forsworn are pre-dominantly female as not every male survives becoming a Briarheart, which is a dark ritual performed on them by Hagravens.
So you're right, there's a dark ritual involved, but any carnality doesn't enter the picture with it, I'm afraid.

That's weird, because I was there on behest of Azura the other day. I never did the Dibella quests. Oh well, somebody will prolly pull up the wiki over it. Chances are that the Star changes location per different playthrough, depending on player-level?
Mind you, I only went after the Star twice. The last time two days ago. I can't remember if I was there the fist time too.

Yeah I'm aware that the location is used for that quest where you rescue the girl. But going there without doing the quest leads to the same results, now there are plenty of forsworn encampments with multi gender members both briar heart and not. The level designer clearly was doing something with this place that was different form all the rest, questline or none. And I think that's really subtle, and cool.

Azura, Dibella and a rescue mission? (Probably a score of radiant missions too.)

I can't confirm or deny that, but all I'm saying is wow this is a really creative dungeon.

nahw, the godly quests' locations are probably random. as a rule when a quest asks u to retrieve ♥♥♥♥ from a big arse chest at the end of a dungeon the chosen location tends to be random.

Yeah, that's what I realised when Dibella was brought up, their objective appears to be random each time you play.
