Hard Answers Quest not starting...

So I am really confused, as the Thieves Guild Quest, Hard Answers is simply not starting for me. I have spoken to Karliah from the end of Speaking with Silence, and afterwards the quest ends, but Hard Answers does not start. I have tried reloading, talking to Enthir, using console commands to manually start it but nothing will work. I have looked it up and nobody else seems to be having this problem. Help?

If you have already broken in to house that is targeted in the next quest, then this mission may not start at all.

If this is not the case, then Unofficial Skyrim Patch fixes known problems with starting this quest. Install them, if you already have not done so and load a save before finishing the previous quest.

If everything else fails, then you may try to force the next quest trough console command. However, that is not recommended method and you should try every other method first. Using console may skip more data from the game and cause extra problems. I am only writing about it here now, because someone will otherwise pop in and recommend it as a first move.
