Onmunds request - problem

I'm on the quest "Onmunds request" to find the "Grand staff of Charming".
So the problem is, i've found the 2 staffs before became the quest and sold it loooooong time ago.. I have now no idea where I sold and what I can do to complete the f***** quest.

The staffs aren't in the treasure where the questmarker is.

Is there any way to complete it unless to start from the beginning?!

Either restart the Mission from an earlier save, or console command. After 24 hours in-game merchants refresh their stock. Whoever you sold it to doesn't have it anymore.

That;s strange as you can't usually remove a quest item from your inventory if you are not doing the quest.

is there a console command to remove the staff in my inventory? or to complete the whole quest?

I know thats strange.. it was at the beginning when I discover the lands and clear some dungeons without a quest. So 130 hours before I think :((

I'm a little confused by your post. You state you sold the staff a long time ago, but your last post states you have it in your inventory. There should only be one "Grand Staff of Charming".

If you have that in your inventory, then equip the staff and place it on a weapon rack. Wait, and then try picking up the staff again. Hopefully your quest will update.

You're missunderstood me.. there was 2 staffs in a treasure for that quest (can found alot of threads about in the internet) and bough staffs are useable for that quest.

But I found out that the only reward for it when it's finished, you're in friendship with onmund. It's not so important than :/
