assist the people of the pale

hello everyone,this game i have played only few days,and i got a mission that named"Assist the people of the pale",it haven't any sign for me,i don't thnow how to do this task...
so i got few questions of this:
what is the Pale?
what does the word Assist actually mean ?To help?
one of the Pale that i've assisted named"Anga's mill",where is the others?
so thank you to help me,as you see,my english are bad...because i'm a chinese.:)

- Assist basically means do missions for them. It could be as something as big as a quest or something as simple as mine something for them or chop firewood for them.
- Go bother the miners.

assist means just what you think, to help. The pale is the people of the area where you got the mission(quest) Talk to the people they will ask you to do things for them.Small quest (jobs)
