Building a new mod pack, help appreciated

With the latest Steam sales I finally took the opportunity to pick up the Legendary Edition since I've been playing without the DLC so far. This means I need to rebuild my mod pack which is a great opportunity to replace my two-year-old pack and maybe build something more comprehensive.

I am now in the process of trying out new mods and I'd like you people to recommend good mods of various types for me to try out.

I really doubt you are going to find the animation mods you are looking for. Most actions can only have one animation and Bethesda made it pretty hard to add new ones to the game. Hair physics look bad so I'd avoid those.

I think you should go to Tesgeneral.com and read their mod recommendation. There are a lot of good mods in their list that you might have overlooked.

Edit: Spam as many werewolf mods as you can, I eventually got myself a group of 5 followers that would all Transform with me and we would run around slaughtering villages, so much fun.

Hair and clothing physics? I don't think the game engine supports that. All of the animations you see, even for cloth flags and cloaks, I believe are manipulated by hand. Though I could be wrong.

I don't know of any player voice mods either.

Also not sure what you mean about player getting stretched.

The HDT physics extensions mod is a frame which allows for various new physics stuff including hair physics. I've yet to try it out.

I mean the lens effect which is caused by the camera's FOV. I've tried FOV values from 60 up to 120. High values seem to cram more stuff on screen but the stretching still remains on anything that's close to the edge of the screen, so simply altering it doesn't help me.

This effect really bothers me sometimes when things are in motion.

So, in other words the FOV only affects zoom, not the flatness of the lens, which is what I'd like to adjust. Or at least move the camera a bit so my own character doesn't move too much to the stretched area when zoomed in.

Yes, because you're changing the field of view. The only way to increase your field of view is to distort what is shown on the screen.

You're not going to find a mod that "corrects" that, because there's nothing to correct. At best, there may be a mod that increases the camera distance from your character in 3rd person mode, but that's really no different than scrolling away from them normally.

You're going to have to live with that one. My fov is set to 80. Default is 65. At 80, I don't notice the fisheye effect at all unless I'm actively looking for it. Pushing your fov higher than that will make it more noticeable. Just a fact of life.

Haven't personally seen any good ones for HDT, be it armor or hair for females.
