What I'm asking is: is there any mod that prevents you from saving during combat?

With the pause menu and the possibility to save during combat, Skyrim is not challenging at all. I know it could be a stupid question because I can simply decide to not save during combat, but I CAN save during combat, so I'm tempted to, if I find myself in a dangerous situation during game (I like to play with those mods that increase the difficulty, hence the game is not very easy).

Just turn auto save off??

If you turn off autosave the game will not save and you have to do it manually.

That's the problem. I still CAN do it manually and I will if I'm in a dangerous situation, but I would not to do it. Hence, I'm asking if there's a mod that prevents me from saving the game (manually) during combat. What I mean is, the save command in the main menu should be grayed out during a combat, so even if I'm tempted to save because the situation is dangerous, I simply CAN'T save the game!

You should only save in one safe location, because the scripts that are running.
I dont think there are any mods that will do the thing you ask for.
It is up to you to not save then.

There are no mods that I'm aware of. When it comes to something as simple as that, easiest thing is learning self control.

I once saved a game with quicksave while trying to enter a ruin not knowing a strong enemy was behind me. It killed me before I could enter the ruin and everytime it reloaded the save after death I would get one shot before I could do anything.

It was hilarious until I realized I hadn't made a hard save in a while so I had to repeat alot of things.

if you say that you will save manually if you're in a dangerous situation, then your willpower is not strong enough. i've finished the game 3 times, i've done thousands of saves, and i've never saved during combat
