What to name my new character

So I decided to play Skyrim on my xbox for the first time in while, and my save data was gone. Couldnt fix that. Please don't help me with that. I need to make a good character name, and I'm kinda serious about it. Help. Please.

I usually stick with names that fit the race of the character I'm playings as. If Imperial I use a Latin name (ex Marius); if Breton I use a French name (ex Jacques); if Nord a Scandinavian name (ex Sigurd); if Argonian usually some sort of Argonian sounding name (ex Scratches-Many-Trees (lmao)) etc. Elven names are a little more difficult because they're not exactly based around real cultures, or imaginary cultures with funny names like the Argonians and the Khajiiti. Guess you can just use a random name generator for Elves or take a name from one of Tolkien's or Paolini's books.

I just go old school. I name a mage Gandalf. I name a thief ? The Thief. My warriors are gender specific. 1Bad-A**-B****, or Conan ?.

Don't know if you'd like this one, but my second character I named was Lady ♥♥♥♥♥ after a bunch of guys kept messing with her. You know, a rep to live up to.

In Morrowind I had an Argonian named Talks-to-Trees, who was a little bit loopy.
I had an orc named Badbum, because of an arrow injury.

I agree with the earlier poster too, I once went quite a ways into a game wtih only the name Prisoner.

Decide what kind of character you want to be, ie Mage, Warrior, Thief and how you would discribe your character. Then go to the UESP Wiki and look up Dragon Language search for the dragon words that fit the type of person you wish to play and turn them into a name.
