Otherwise you may have to use setstage to advance the quest.
Try this in console
setstage FreeformKolskeggrA 10
You might also be able to wait for the mine to respawn enemies and try to complete the quest at that time.
But when I went back in the mine and executed the command again, there was no change.
Thank you for those hints, but the bodies of the dead Forsworn I'd wasted are nowhere to be found inside Kolskeggr mine. I tried your suggestion regarding the setstage FreeformKolskeggrA 10 command, and when it did not immediately do anything, I went outside and waited for 25 hours. Then, when I went back inside the mine, nothing had changed. No Forsworn, living or dead, no finished side quest achivement, and nothing to say to Pavo. I suppose I should wait longer next time. Hell, I'm already prepared to give up on this little side quest altogether, even though I really don't want to. I hate leaving things unfinished. It just irks me.
Why should it have been written in the past tense? I occasionally save a game in an available game slot, so I wasn't trying to say that I've sworn off slot saving altogether. How should I have phrased the question?
[Edit]: I know you were being funny, but if I fouled up what I was trying to say, then I need to know where I fouled up so I won't do it again. ;)
