Cannot remove unwanted magical effect

Someone mind helping a bit here? I have encountered this glitch before, dwarven centurion fx and all. There is no fx power in my active powers menu this time tho, but I still have this

can try the same solution that applies to stuck sound/arrows/icicles

make a backup


open console
now you type in
*savegame backup*
now you have a hard save that is named backup instead of a number.
then type in *sexchange* and then *sexchange* again
should remove stuck visual effects

dont include the * in the console

I tested that one, console said I had something like taht but didnt delete. And testing Tyrant's advice, will let ye know if helped!

I almost wish I had the issue if this will fix it. I hope the OP reports success.

The problem goes away for some time, but when I do something, change first to third person, enter building, run for a while, do anything, it keeps coming back.

Yes, but did you try Tyrant's suggestion. With console commands you have to be careful and I check them at least thrice before using but this would be great if it resolves your issue.
Just remember, the warranty on console commands is if you break your game, you get to fix
it.

when effects gets stuck like that they are extremely hard to remove and usually the only option is to load a save before the effect was applied.

well that save has been lost then.

Yes I have, it has fixed it for me before but not anymore. And the sexchange isnt dangerous command
