Stealth + Dark brotherhood gloves + daggers break the game. One shot dragons in legendary difficulty.

Muffle helps a lot. Get to the dark brotherhood asap for the gear, since the boots also have muffle, and pick the perk for it.

In the mean time, slow down (Hold shift) and stay behind enemies as much as possible.

Illusion magic is also helpful. Calm will make you able to sneak attack most things since they just won't attack you.

Use illusion for the silent casting perk, invisibility and muffle.
Get the Dark Brotherhood gear. Use better daggers than iron or steel.

Cast muffle, sneak to the enemy..attack. If spotted cast invisibility and move away...cast calm on the enemy (dual cast)...repeat.

Use bound daggers for more damage, put points into "one-handed" perk.

Can use bows from a distance in sneak mode to get a few shots off, then go for daggers then.

One-handed perk affects daggers since when?

Daggers are still 1-handed weapons, plus, get Dagon's Razor, chance of instant death upon attack. There's another quest, forgot the name, when completed you the "lucky dagger". Forgot what the actual bonus is..either extra damage or chance to intant kill an enemy.

Hmm.. I never noticed any damage increase when perking the er.. Bladesman? perk was it?
We live and learn - the sneak perks work for sure :-)

That's outside Falkreath. I think its just a miscellaneous objective more than an actual quest. Valdr's Lucky Dagger, it has a 25% chance of a critical hit.

I never do power attacks with daggers, I just creep up real close and tap the button/controls and get the cinematic-slice the throat-kill scene.

One handed dual daggers? You mean there are two handed daggers in the game?!

Also the sneak skill has an ability which gives you x16 damage on dagger sneak attacks.
The immersive weapon mod adds some nice daggers too, so you might want to check that out.

Eh.. you don't really need anything insane

Grabbing the Dark brotherhood gear you can stack to a 30x multiplier on sneak with daggers.

Combine with either Blade of Woe or a Daedric dagger (legendary) and you're looking at like 3500-4000 damage per hit
