Bound Bow or Auriel's Bow?

When I cast Bound Bow it shows my damage as 132. When I equip Auriel's Bow with Sunhallowed Arrows, the damage shows as 75.

I am wondering if this is correct? Via google I saw some posts where people insisted Auriel's Bow was the best bow in the game, but they didn't mention the Bound Bow in their comparisons.

Should I keep using the Bound Bow? Or is Auriel's better in some way I don't know about? (not counting the triple damage against undead, which makes it a no-brainer in situations against undead). I know it makes small explosions but I'm assuming those do the bow's damage in an AOE.

you must have some other perks that increase damage on bound weapons, or a mod to the same effect

actully the bound bow is just slightly worse than a daedric. the mystic bow is considerably better. just check the comparison chart here

mystic bow 24 + daedric arrow 20 + 200% damage= 132
ariels bow 15 + steel arrow 10 + 200% damage is= 75 yes steel not sunhollowed equiped.

Archery tree is almost maxed out, but afaik, both bows benefit from the perk even if one is conjured. So that's why Bound Bow is displayed as 132 and Auriel's Bow is displayed at 75.

I have the Mystic Binding perk that increases Bound Weapon base damage. if it affects the arrows as well as the bow, perhaps that explains where the large damage increase comes from.

even with the increase from Mystic Binding, I feel like the Bound Bow's damage is still strangely higher than Auriel's Bow. I ended up killing Lord Harkon with my Bound Bow =/ only used Auriel's to break his shield thing.

That's strange though... when I equipped Auriel's Bow with the Sunhallowed Elven Arrows, it showed a base damage of 75.

that is because the sunhallowed should be 15 damage. oh well, if that is the worst problem your game has, you are having a good day.

Haha, yea, I've read some scary things. but i save my game frequently so i don't run into huge walls. lord harkon became invincible when i was fighting him the first time :(
