Help with Skyrim Steam DLC Problems PLEASE!!
So today at Gamestop, i purchased Activation codes to get all three Skyrim Add on content packs, (dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn), and i went ahead and activated the products on steam. so far so good. i check the "View Downloadable Content tab, and it says they're all there and installed. i start up my game, and when it begins, nothing has changed. no DLc content, no dawnguyard, hearthfire, or dragonborn, nothing. can someone please help?

one last thing, in case this has anything to do with it, i once tried to torrent the DLCs and failed, so i deleted them days before even thinking to go to gamestop.

Try a new game. You should have the DLC quests by the time you reach whiterun at the latest.

If that works then your other save files may be corrupted by the torrents installation.
You may be right. I'll try. if it doesn't work, well... that sucks. but either way, thanks for the suggestion.

I started a new game and used a console command to double check DLC locations, called "tmm 1" which shows all fast travel locations. i did so, but to no avail. I went onto the steam app, right clicked on Skyrim in my library and clicked on "Show DLC content for this game". It shows that i own all three dlc's, but everytime i look, they change from "Installed" to Uninstalled", and such. is there a way to manually install these even though i bought activation codes at gamestop?

also, when i uncheck and re-check the INSTALL box on that list, there is a download that appears, but it says its an update only.

could mods be responsible?

You could try verifying your game cache but be aware that if you have used TES5Edit in the past you will need to use it again afterwards.

I verified the cache several times, and it says everything is fine... is there a way to get rid of the DLC and reactivate it?

everytime i uncheck and recheck the box in the DLC list on steam, it shows a download, but it isn't the dlc. its an auto update.

could this just be a steam issue, not my computer?

try to look on the dlc tab in the properties (right click on the game in the library) of the game if they enabled or not

Top left hand corner Steam click. Check for Steam Client updates and do the driver as well.
