Boots of Lightning Dodger
So I was wandering around Skyrim for a bit when I thought 'oh I need to check my Breezehome', and when I got there I quickly went upstairs to store my items in a chest. That's when I saw three pair of boots resting near the door. The right-most was Boots of Speed which increase the speed into 100%, and the left-most was Boots of Lightning Dodger which also increase the speed, but into 400%! As I type this, I'm wearing the Boots of Lightning Dodger and I gave the Boots of Speed to Lydia. The other boots, which I forgot the name, increase the speed into 200%. I wonder where these came from. Any of you have any info? Thanks

I had the same issue as other people having these boots without installing the mod, through constant disabling and enabling mods I was able to trace back to which mod caused them to appear in my game: amazing race tweaks! redguard edition. So if you have the boots without installing the mod that might be it!
Just informing y'all

+Amazing Race Tweaks! Redguard Edition Is the mod where you got the boots from, ended up finding this out myself after some time. Figured I'd post this here incase you didn't find your answer already.

The only mod I found is this http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=16715 and I am no subscriber of that mod. How is that even possible?

nope, I played Skyrim just recently (42 hours total) and I remember real well what mod I subscribe to and this is not one of them.

If you read the author's notes for Boots of Speed, he also made a Pixie mod which includes boots as well. Is it possible you have this mod instead?

well thats odd
but tbh the run spead is pretty lacking so id use them
and a friendly tip- if you wanna get more into modding skyrim head over to nexus mods and see what they have there, a way bigger selection of mods than steam has

not at all. I didn't even know what a Pixie mod is until I found the Boots of Speed workshop page.
In an older charcter file I had those boots as well. I can't be certain since I haven't seen them in any current character files, but I'm somewhat sure they are placed there by Perkus Maximus.

I also had these boots. The funniest part is that I didn't even have any mods at the time shocking, I know so I disenchanted them.

Wow. Nice. Thanks for reviving this old thread for your useless comment!

It happened to me to!
Same exact thing. I don't have any of the mods for them either.

If you select the boots with MFG Console active, odds are you'll see the responsible plugin listed down the lower right of your display.
