Let me show you to your room
Everything i rent a bed at an Inn, the innkeeper always shows me to my room, Even if ive been a frequent customer. This leads to the npc getting in my way as i head there, And im forced to watch the innkeeper creepily standing near my bed as i wake up. Quite immersion breaking.

Does anyone know a mod that disabled this behavior? And if not, Could someone make one?

How about not falling in bed instantly, but waiting for a while until the inkeeper leaves?
Also this behavior is not present in Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood. I guess Delphine is too cocky for such things.

This is an annoyance to me, And i shouldnt have to tolerate annoyances when a mod could simply and easily make me happier. Could someone please just make this for me?

You mean make a mod like this?

Dude, when you buy a room, just open console, click on the Innkeeper, use command "disable", then when you're awake use command "enable" and you're done

Im so very sick of people coming up with excuses instead of genuinely trying to help. Its like you all dont even want to be here. You people disgust me.

Im unsubscribing from this. Bet my life the next response is going to be another excuse not to help me.

I don't need an excuse not to help you. I choose not to help you.

Atleast you're honest. Unlike the rest of these two-faced hypocrits.

kinda ♥♥♥♥ to lash out at people for not providing stuff on silver plates. what you're asking for takes at least 20 minutes of going around the ck and thinking about boring systems and scripts. you cant seriously expect strangers to just provide. if you really want custom mods learn to make em.

Wow, Thank you so much for proving my point.

20 minutes! Thats all it takes, I dont have the skill to do it myself, But for someone that does, 20 whole minutes! instead of someone taking the time to help me out, To make a mod that most likely others will appreciate also, I get a handful of people trying to come up with loopholes to my request to avoid that burden at the cost of adding to mine.

If its really that easy as i had expected, And not a single person will do this for me despite my pleading and desperation, Then i have lost faith in humanity.

To be fair, the first and second replies you got were as helpful as can be if you insist on sleeping in inns. Given your response to them, it says a lot for the goodwill of the community that you got any more input after that. Isn't it more immersive to roleplay a conversation with the innkeep (in your head) until they get bored and wander off, then get some private shuteye?

This suggestion is much more trouble than tolerating my original problem. Just another typical excuse, Trying to avoid my request.

Why give them a new action afterwards? I buy a room, the innkeeper says "Sure thing, Its yours for a day". Just cut out "let me show you to your room", And the action that does so. That doesnt sound like it would cause conflicts or interact with any other characters.Theres only two dozen or so innkeepers, It sounds pretty simple to me, Unless im missing something.

Don't know if you've ever been to an inn or the like, but the defining trait of someone who runs a successful establishment of that sort tends to be that they are a "people person". However misguided, they are only trying to help. i could draw a parallel here. Sorry, but yes, i think you are missing something

Are you saying that innkeepers interact with npc's the same way as with players, Rooms being rented, innkeepers showing them to their rooms, And that my request would conflict with this?
