Skill Trainer Bug

So I'm trying to level up and Im going to skill trainers that I havent been to in months, and I've leveled up at least 10 times since the last visit. Yet they still wont let me train.

Example: I am level 88 overall. My Restoration level is 23. Ive gone to several different Restoration trainers and they still wont train me.

I am using a PC. Ive looked on the internet for info and havent found anything helpful...

No idea. Never had a problem with Restoration training before. However you could try going to High Hrothgar Courtyard and stand between the pillers at the entrance to the path leading up to Paarthanux.

Just make sure you have regenerate magicka items on you and let the frost effect drain your health while using healing spells. If you drop too low just step back out of the frost effect until your health and magicka are regenerated then do it again.

Are you able to ask for training and then not able too? You know there is a limit on how many times you can train per level right? I've also found that people will train you up to skill level 90, once you have a skill at that level they won't offer training anymore saying you have learned everything they know, or the option won't even be selectable anymore.

There are different levels of trainers, yes. (Adept, Expert, Master) Any one of these Ive gone to and they say that I've already trained with them on that level and I havent. I have not been to these people in over 20 levels, so I should be able to train with them and I cant.

I was only using Restoration as an example, Im looking for trainers because its faster.

Lets use another example cuz i know this all sounds confusing. My Destruction is level 85. My overall level is 88. At this point I can only go to a Master trainer to level it up, so I went to Faralda (who I have not been to since I was at least level 80 overall) but she still didnt let me train.

And yes, the option to train is there, but It says Ive already trained 5 times in that level (i havent :P)

Nasty :( Try leveling up again (yes it will take a while at level 88, sorry if this sounds really unhelpful) and see if the problem persists. If so, it's an unusual glitch or a mod problem. Apologies for not being able to offer anything better!

I console commanded myself to level 89. No change, still couldnt train. I console commanded back to 88, and then I could train. Except theres still a few I cant train with, but it might be because of their skill level. Idk, if im at adept level, I should think i would be able to train with a Master..

Nope, training with an adept trainer doesnt work.

sometimes things get mucked up when using mods and other times scripts get broken for no reason. it happens.
if you still encounter problems i suggest using the console command
incpcs restoration
or what ever skill wanted

it will raise your skill level 1 while adding in the proper skill xp to get to the new skill level.do this 5 times per level to simulate training. it will also progress your level progress properly. you can also drop the proper amount of gold if you want to but at pclevel 88 gold should be coming out your horker hole so i wouldn't even worry about that.
