Best rapids / waterfalls to ride
So far I think my favorite one I have found is at Darkwater Crossing

I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys this, so I was wondering what are other peoples favorite white-water areas in Skyrim are

who gives a crap, the rapids/waterfalls AREN'T for riding MORON.

well it's something I've done in real life so it's part of my immersion I guess.. you can jump in water and catch fish... and those ever elusive dragonflies ... the waterfalls really are a great rush to ride... beats walking... IDK maybe I am the only one who does this... also great if you are lower level and need to get some place safely downstream

actually not a bad idea. id like to know if surf is possible, put some ♥♥♥♥ in the river, jump on it and ride it?

if you like the water falls try dead mans drop if you survive you get congratulated by the ghost of the last person that tried it

Is that the one where the bridge collapses in the cave? Did that yesterday.. that was great !!

no never saw that one. Im talking about BARDS LEAP SUMMIT its part of LOST VALLEY REDOUBT if you look at the map its almost straight south from RORICKSTEAD right on the river. if you go there I suggest clearing out the forsworn first. and while your there might as well also kill the hagravens hidden behind the screen and learn the word from the dragon wall there as well.

The one with the stream on both sides and little bridges to get to the word? Ill check it out.. the one in the cave is great.. drops you down for an underground whitewater ride... gotta re find that on the map.

Pretty sure the cave one is towards the end of Dawnguard. As an amateur at such things i've always liked the riverwood-whiterun falls for a bit of a chuckle.Dead Man's Drop is definitely for insaniacs :)

yea at the end of the dawn guard quest to get ariuels bow after you travel through the lowest part of the under world you end up on top of a large mountain area. If you follow the river up here. It will end at a spot where it goes down into the mountain you can actually fall through this and fall all the way back through the mountain back to the bottom of the under world again. In fact if you timed it I think you would be falling continusly for close to 10 seconds.

Fun fast traveling to Bard's Leap with your horse, not riding just stand next to your horse and fast travel. One of you probably will not fit. One way to learn that that is not the best way to leap. Oh, yeah, killed my horse.

This thread reminds me of when I used to play tomb raider on play station and would find the highes places I could to make lara croft jump off just to see how many times she would scream before she hit the ground
