You did not specify what quest you have been doing. I am guessing you meant Falion?

You know that you can cure the disease with any Cure Disease potion or shrine, before it progresses to actual vampirism? You have days to do that.

Unless you are still in the vale, I don't see how you would't have time to visit any of the cities or wilderness shrines to cure your disease. Or, snipe a hawk out of the sky and eat one of it's wings, before you turn in to vampire.

You can actually hit those things? I tried, but failed I'm no Legolas.

With arrows, bolts and spells. New hawks also respawn quite fast.

My favorite emergency location is Riverwood. There are 2 hawk nests in the area and hawks occasionally stop there.

You can hit them from flight as well. It gets easier, if you follow their behavior for a while. You can then advance in your shot and intercept the bird with your arrow.

Why use console when you can make one easy?

Or buy it in almost any shop. and almost all Silver dudes have one.

And every single city has a temple with one or more shrines.

Cure Disease effect is easiest thing in the game to get. I do not understand why anyone would need console to get it.

Not my game, though. Play as you wish. :)

/FacePalm, I never realised you could shoot down the hawks. I assumed they were just there for ambiance. Cheers for the info though a little redfaced.

I got it 6 times and it drove me nuts so after i cured it for the last time i joined the Companions to become a werewolf as that isn't a hindrance at all.

Also bear in mind that a necklace of disease immunity can be found in the world as well.
