HOWEVER, be aware that without using a script, editing the carryweight of the player means you have to do it through the racial records which then makes your edit incompatable with litterally anything else that touches that record. So thats racial overhauls, new hair styles or warpaints (if not using racemenu), and a whole lot of other mods.
If you would still like to go ahead, then open Tes5edit with either an existing mod you have that edits racial records (such as Imperious races of skyrim, disparity, skyre races etc) or just open it up with your current mods.
If using an existing mod, open up the mod by hitting the little + symbol next to it, open up the races catagory, and click on each race that is playable (so Breton, Dark Elf etc, but ignore Dremora and Horker etc), scroll down through the records until you see Base Carry Weight on the left hand side. Click on the number 300 in the column for your mod, type in 2 and a little warning will come up and hit okay, and then type 00 and you have your two hundred.
If you dont have a mod that edits the races already, the easiest thing to do is just to get one, or Shift click on all the playable racial records from Unofficial Skyrim Patch or Skyrim (if using Dawnguard you will have to get the vampire races from the unofficial dawnguard patch and Dawnguard itself for any missing ones) and right click and hit Copy as Override into... and select New File.
Name your new file, and use that to do the edits as described above
Yes, but youd have to make a new enchantment in order to apply the correct effect. I could look into doing it for you if you wanted, but it would have to wait till tomorrow and I'm back on my main PC with tes5edit on it.
If you don 't wanna die type tgm, for God mod, then tim for immortal mode, and tmm 1 for all map markers to shows. ONLY if you want to.
If you typr player.setav, it won't take and stay. it has to be player.forceav--
If you wanted to take a look and see what you could do, that'd be awesome. I'm still figuring some of this stuff out.
Eh, The CK is okay but it really is a blunt hammer. Tes5edit is MUCH more precise then the CK, especially for small projects like this, far less buggy and more stable, and also lets you have more access to some records.
Awesome, thanks!
Cool, definitely going to check this out to figure out some basics!
So the only thing I could make is an amulet or something that actually weighs 100, but it would both be easier and also save load order space for you to just carry around some firewood as the other person suggested, and also more dynamic as you could drop off the wood when you felt like if you wanted to get that lost weight back.
Also just worth noting, for this sort of stuff, tes5edit is MUCH quicker and also much much easier to learn. The CK is a mess of errors and instabilities, and Tes5edit can do all that the CK can besides worldspace additions or tweaks, and even some stuff the CK cant because you can customise it with scripts etc
if you want a vanilla solution, just get a companion and use them as a mule. activate your compainion, 'i need you to do something for me'. point to whatever item you want to carry, they will pick it up and carry it for you. lydia picks up stuff even though i can't give her any more items.
