Marrying Elisif didn't seem to work very well, it worked better getting 40 supporters. If you're playing fair, you're probably going to have won 40 people over by the time you have 50gs anyway- otherwise "setrelationshiprank player 4" works to win them over. I was using Caring and Sharing companions when I won most of my allies over- giving people trinkets they liked worked. Beggars are very easy to win over, and many of the bachlorettes in Skyrim don't actually require you to finish their quest before they'll support you.

Well, the first step to becoming a High King is pretty easy, you make up some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ claim and people will fight a war for you. You are now a king and it's time for the hard part to begin: finding the weed.

Because there is no weed in Skyrim, you can't get high. You can never become a High King.

Beggars are easiest supporters. Give 1 gold, BFFs. If you've got hearthfire- the adoption kids count for that too IIRC. Do quests for people- many of the batchlorettes (single ladies- looks like English is not first language?) do not actually require you to finish their quests to win them. Mercenaries- the brawl people are the easiest- beat them up and BFFs. Thieve's Guild was very hard to win over, it's easier to win over Jarls and townsfolk than the Thieve's guild.

You do people favors, and they'll like you. Free tip- when Idolaf Battle-born talks to you tell him Battle-Born. BFF.

what if yer rivals give 1 gold to beggars too? then thered be a race for beggar support. give 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7... 99999 gold. Then the beggars will be so rich theyll beat u to kingship. long live the beggars republic
