Potential problems with the pancreas not withstanding. if you do have those problems, then you have my pity
Skyrim: Cooking, smithing, contextual NPC conversations, no fast travel to cities you've never been to, bandits don't wear daedric armor, etc. Oblivion does have repair, but that balances with Skryrim's tempering. I'm just not seeing how Oblivion is more immersive.
