Where to get Skyrim-Theme in "acceptable" quality?
Hi there,

I've been playing Skyrim on several plattforms and I own several Versions of the game.

My question: Where can I get the Soundtrack of the game (Skyrim Theme) in acceptable quality? - No problem if I have to pay for it.

All versions I've heared are crap. There has to be a feasible version somewhere.

Thanks for info.

My problem is that all .mp3's I found "suck" when listening to them on some kind of "HiFi-audio-devices"...

You need a 3rd party prgrom to extrack the audio file from the games data files I believe. Have you not found a high quility version of Dovakiin on say youtube?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wI53NuOjxB4

There's a media fire link on that youtube page and the audio sounds ok on my system ;)

Youtube suxx... (Have you ever listened to the sound? *smile)

I'd like to have an "uncompressed" version to listen.

Even the sound the game plays (I'm on Steam and listening to the original game) sucks! - It's to quiet and al the "dynamics" which is (hopefully) part of the original recording is "gone"... :(

did you use the media fire link and at least try it it's said to be 320 Kb audio? The file sounds better on my system then the Youtube audio

The "game sound" (if you start it on the PC using Steam) is strange. At the beginning it's "150% oversteer" (übersteuert (*sorry* I'm a non-native)) and sounds _UGLY_.

After this it's "much to quiet". Because of this all the dynamics is gone... :(

VIkingDream: I don't want to sample the game sound. I'd like to have the (HiFi) original sound.

@EHDII: Thanks. I've to "try the sound"... :D

As I don't have Apple/iTunes/... I have to thest. - Hopefully the sound is better than the rest I've "recognized" before.

I will check!

Currently, Apple sells audio files on iTunes in 16-bit lossy AAC format encoded at 256 kbps to minimize file size. Not sure that Itunes is any better the 320KBps audio but hey its TOS and you wont find CD's for it now days so the only play to buy it is digital I guess.

Well i found a listing on Amazon lol http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Original-Soundtrack/dp/B006P35Z0Q $249.99 seems legit to me lol

Any ways good luck with the hunt

.mp3 sampled in "good" quality is OK for me. => I'll check how I can get he track.

VikingDream: I prefer what is called here "High End Audio". But I'm "used to" accept feasible quality. All I've heared was f*cking ugly. => Hopefully it'll become better now... :D

THNX 2 all
