Race Mod Help Please?!?!

Ok so i have downloaded a couple of race mods for skyrim but while starting a new game and look to select them they never show up do i have to download some other mod to make the races moddable?!?! i would like to know soon as possible please :)

Sharing which *specific* custom race you are trying to play would help us help you.

Also you could possibly help yourself by *reading* all the words on the mod page about the race mod you are trying to use. Read all the requirements it might have.

I always have bad luck with race mods. They sound better, and I like the 'uniqueness' of them, but they seem to be the main contributing factor of my mod bugs.

First, Did you enable the .esp file?
Second, Which race mod are you trying to use?
Third, If the race mods dont show up in-game then obviously you did not enable the .esp file
Fourth, Maybe you have forgotten to install a Requirement mod that the Current Custom Race you are trying to use needs?

Well For Lykaios Race you need to download:
RaceCompatibility http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24168/?
A UNP( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6709/? ) or CBBE( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2666/? )Body mod

And you need SoS ( http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/498-sos-schlongs-of-skyrim/ )

If you dont use any Body Change mod (Like UNP or CBBE) then use the UNP Option in the installer .

i went to SOS tho and a bunch of sexual stuff came up.... any other links ?

SOS /is/ an "anatomically correct" mod for male characters. You do not, in fact, need it to run the Lykaios race. You do need RaceCompatibility mod that Darkarhon mentioned if you have all the DLC.

But Darkarhon might be on to something.. are you sure you checked the .esp so the mod is active?

How do i check the Esp ? i install it with nexus mangager but thats about it

How do i check the Esp ? i install it with nexus mangager but thats about it

You enable and disable esps when you launch the game, you get a menu before the game actually starts, one of the options on this menu is 'Data Files', located under 'Options' and above 'Tech Support'

Edit: Considering this is a thread from like 4 years ago I'm assuming you worked this out by now, lol

On a side note I've been having the same problem, I figure RaceCompatibility would fix the issue despite a few of the mods not even having requirements listed (Which is suspicious AF to me, lol), but the RC is worth trying just to be sure
