Mannequin bug
Hi, I searched all over the internet but I couldn't find a thing about the bug I'm experiencing. In my game, random mannequins appear in all the main city's (e.g. Whiterun or Riften). It's a really annoying bug and the mannequins collide too so I can't walk through them, which is sometimes annoying as they block the path to where I want to go. Any kind of help would be appriciated.

Thanks.

Here are some screenshots of the bug: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=382397845 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=382397824 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=382397802

Um.... thats a new one for me. I mean I'm use to the mannequins moving, or even duplicating, but appearing in a cell that don't exist in.... yep, definitely havent seen that before. XD
If you have any mods can you please list them down in their load order?
Also do you have any idea of why they all might appear to have the same active effect applied to them (the green glow)?

I have no idea why they have that green glow, I never had this before, it just randomly happened. I have about 100 mods on Skyrim... I don't use BOSS, I use the standard load order machine thing you get when you run skyrim via steam, I do use SKSE though. I'll name my esp files, atleast 75% can't be the one causing this, give me 5 minutes to make a post of them.
Nazenn Jan 27, 2015 @ 10:42am
Well for starters, run LOOT instead of boss (http://loot.github.io/) as boss is now outdated, and LOOT has replaced it and see if having a proper load order set fixes it.
Also get yourself a mod manager. Data Files is incredibly unreliable at maintaining a load order. If you are workshop only then use Wrye Bash :) More on mod managers and why you need one here : https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/619573787291424440/

damn I thought I'd seen it all
Nazenn Jan 27, 2015 @ 10:43am
Also worth noting : Cant do anything until you have a proper load order. You might have the best mods in the world, but the wrong load order can make a mess of your game regardless, and a lot of bugs can come from load order alone. Sort your mods with LOOT, test it again, and then post your LOOT sorted load order if youre still haveing problems

Hahaha, thats pretty much what I was thinking
sab Jan 27, 2015 @ 10:44am
On the other hand, I'll name five that actually could be the only cause of this weird bug. It could be Immersive roads from skyrim nexus (which is kinda odd because this doesn't do anything refering to mannequins.) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40245/? It could be the Shadow Striping Fix http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27418/? I honestly don't think it's another mod I have installed, I could take a look at my NMM mods though.

I got NMM, never heard of LOOT though.
Nazenn Jan 27, 2015 @ 10:46am
Do what I said above and then we'll go about it. Making random guesses at what mod is causing it when you dont even have a proper load order isnt going to help. XD and those two I can garentee arent the cause
sab Jan 27, 2015 @ 10:56am
And, how do I actually make a load order, I have no clue what I'm doing right now
Nazenn Jan 27, 2015 @ 10:57am
Check the link I provided you above. It should have both a visual and video tutorial on how to run LOOT.
Once you have run LOOT, just copy and paste the details tab into a comment here (PLEASE clean out all unnessisary empty space first, but leave space in between each mod if you are leaving in all the extra info which is recommended. Just makes reading it much nicer)

Well thats a new one lol. The green halo is a magic effect such as the Calm spell As to why the mannequins have it...

KillThemGenerals.esp is superfluous as its includid in USKP so get rid of it.

I just posted my esp list FYI, I got a children overhaul, some face enhancement mods, weapon mods, armor mods... Light overhauls... and retextures of vanilla things such as armor.
Nazenn Jan 27, 2015 @ 11:19am
Why does no one clean out all the empty spaces? :(

General notes from your load order :

Get the unoffical Dawnguard Patch
Get the patch for Jaysus swords as it is very glitchy without it
Get rid of CLARALUX as its incredibly outdated and will cause save problems
I personally would suggest getting rid of birds.esp but its not essential
Get rid of MidasSkyrim.esp and reaplace it with midas magic evoled as the originaly is definitely not stable now (this might be where your problem is coming from)
Make sure only Pure Waters OR WATER is enabled, the same with CoT interiors OR RLO interiors
Add a bashed patch (done with wrye bash, info in the link provided previously)
Get rid of the couple of redundant patches you have installed

As for your problem, do the stuff above, test it again with a nice clean load order, and then post back if its still there.
Unfortunetly Im just about to head to bed so any further help from me will have to be when I wake up
sab Jan 28, 2015 @ 5:21am
FIXED FIXED FIXED, It was a mod called Immersive Combat, I actually took the time to activate 5 mods at a time, then launch the game and see if the mannequins were still there. Now I am going to remove that mod. :-)
