Both parents being alive is weird though.
But as I said, I know athat her parents are alive. I saw saffir having the argument with amren.
Save the game and ask him/her to live with you, see if the dialogue actually does anything other than a false flag trigger.
Her father while a loving father/husband and an overall decent person is more interested in finding his father's sword while her mother is more invested in her books than she is in her own daughter. Still, poor Lars.
They were never killed, so I never resurrected them.
Its actually the AdoptableOrphanage quest, it packs off orphaned kids to Riften. Why it would kick in when the parent are still alive I have no idea.
