Vampires was wooden stakes, Garlic and the Sun. Oh and crucifixes...
But they're also masochistic so maybe they keep it for that reason? :p You know, like emo's keep razorblades lolz.
And even then, there's no lingering effects (it doesn't act like an "allergic reaction" in the slightest). It just deals more damage, and that's that.
Werewolves were the ones that were vulnerable to silver, although some new shows claim Lycans are not.
But Dracuala is a made up Vampire. Skyrim vampires haven't dicovered sunblock yet :D
Dracula is indeed fictional. I look forward to your findings about real-life vampires.
Lol - it's ok, Two Bears. You 'always' talk sense (in my book) and I was just teasing. :-)
And here I had already anticipated you in an apartment with a tape recorder and Brad Pitt.
Vlad Dracula or Vlad Tepes was a real person, although any claims to be one of the undead are uh, unlikely. He was just as vile as any fictional villain. (Yes Dracula was popularised as a vampire in the novel by Bram Stoker and yes it is fiction, but every good story has to have an inspiration)
Many of the stories of his cruelity were also invented as propaganda and slander by his political enemies as well.
