Getting spammed with letters of inheritance

[🅵🆁🅴🅳🅴🆁🅸🅺]

I keep getting this courier every now and then run up to me and give me the same letter of inheritance over and over. It is the same identical letter stating some farmer in Whiterun died, and the fun thing is I keep getting the same amount of gold over and over, so a pretty useful glitch but annoying. Anything I can do to stop this other than running from the courier?

Have dawngaurd installed? If yes, cood be the farmers around Whiterun getting killed off. Just a WAG.

It is the same farmer though I keep getting letters from.

You have to throw the letters away or they will be the same letter. It is a glitch. You are not really getting the letters from the same person.

LOL maybe he's a vampire. They keep burying him and the poor schmuck just keeps climbing out. Quite expensive for the family to hold a funeral per week ;)

If you already have a letter in your inventory, the new one will stack with the old one and the names will be the same on all of them.
