realvision has an NMM installer so you can choose which version you want.

1. Download ENBSeries v0.262 (enbseries_skyrim_v0262.zip) from http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0262.htm (download button at the bottom of the page) and extract it.

2. Copy d3d9.dll AND enbhost.exe from the wrapper folder to Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim.

3. Download RealVision via your mod manager and install the option of your choice.

4. NMM will put files here: Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data/RealVision_ENB_files.

5. Run RV_launcher.exe and click on "INSTALL"

6. During installation, the ENBoost Configurator will automatically adjust the enblocal.ini. You only have to insert your VRAM amount.

7. Click on "SET INI" in the RV_launcher or start RV_INIeditor.vbe (Wrye Bash-users). It will fix your skyrim.ini so the game does not try to override what the ENB will control.

after that you should be good to go

To get the full graphics effect and performance boosts, follow the guide on STEP. You don't need to do it straight away but it makes a huge difference in graphics and performance. I am using the latest enb w/o problem which is 279.

http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB

1. If you use an ENB, then ENBoost should be installed. It uses the the spare RAM in your pc as VRAM.
http://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost

2. Install the ENB of your choice. According to the guide Realvision was designed to work with Climates Of Tamriel (and other rmods). I use the installer .

3. If you are going to use graphics mods, then install Mod Organizer. This allows mods to be installed without overwriting the game files. Using MO means that you edit the skyrim.ini and prefs.ini using the inbuilt MO editor because MO may be looking for them in the MO profiles sub-directory.

4. ENB launches by itself with the game if it is setup correctly. A few lines of text appear in the top left corner of the first launch screen.

5. Sometimes you might get weird graphic effects like superbright screens. If this happens there is a failsafe prefs.ini on the Realvision download page.

My download with mod manager doesn't work, how do i do it with downloading manually? alternatively, is there a way to fix the problem with downloading via mod manager?

I just downloaded it a week or two ago. I followed the instructions on the nexus page to the letter and it works beautifully.

Does not work. Reinstalled 3 times, followed the steps, still does not work.
