Weird Text Glitch
Alright i've been playing skyrim on the PC for a few weeks now and i've run into a bit of a problem. Some of the text in game is in like some odd moon rune language, but not all of it, so far it seems to be only on houses and the like and even then not all the houses are affected.

Had this bug happen before but it was affecting the "Live another life" mod, so i uninstalled it and started the game normally with no problem. but all of a sudden it's started up again for no reason. didn't download any more mods, didn't delete anything, it just came out of nowhere after freeing that vampire ♥♥♥♥♥ from dimhallow crypt.

Can anybody help? any info could be useful.

I beleive this is because you have a mod that has altered your translation file. You may have a mod that is in a different language than the version your skyrim is in. I of course have no idea which mod that would be. I would look over your mods and try to find the culprit. If that fails you can do this:
Delete the strings and interface folders in your skyrim game folder, then go into Steam. right click on Skyrim, select properties, go to the local files tab, and select verify integrity.

probably just some alternative language or something.
thats why you should always read the description of a mod before installing ;)

C'mon don't be daft. You don't expect people to read the description do you, what an absurd thing to suggest ;)

Definitely a mod problem. When I first started playing Skyrim I downloaded a Workshop mod that was in English but made by an Asian and same thing happened. Even changed some of the map markers in one area which helped me figure out which one of the mods I recently downloaded was the culprit.; a small house mod.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
