If I had used console commands I would not be feeling so chuffed now.
Lvl 100 in Smithing making sure you have the perks you want plus the magic smithing. Surprisingly I have found the normal vampire armour better than the Dragonscale.
Only when I have a lot of petty soul gems will I start enchanting low level items like daggers to bring enchanting level up quite quickly and make good profits.. Then when I have the perks for 2 enchantments and soul siphon I will enchant expensive jewellry with grand soul gems to get the maximum benefit using a Fortify Enchanting potion.
Using your enchanted jewellry and a Fortify smithing potion you do your high end smithing. If you plan to do a lot of smithing then improving you will need two or more potions.
I did read about the potion exploit but frankly couldn't be bothered doing all that repetitive potion, enchanting, potion, enchanting business. Such a waste of Grand soul gems to get the maximum benefit.
Step 1: Put 50 hours into the game on crafting.
Step 2: Make a sword with 600 base damage.
Step 3: Move on to game with real challenges.
Console commands are for bugs. lol.
Why do you play Legendary? To make the game harder.
Whey do you use cheat weapon? To make the game easier.
That noise you hear in your head is called cognitive dissonance.
That's why I use the Skyrim Creation kit.
I use the Creation Kit for everything in game, from modifying Jump Height to making Spells that increase run speed. In fact, the ONLY thing that I have NOT been able to mod up to now, is the amount of perk points that a player receives when they level up.
I thank the Op for the console code however, because, had I not learned how to use the Creation Kit on a basic level, I would have had to use the console commands, but, through the creation kit, I was able to make daggers with 1000 X chance Crit Hit that do 600 dps per normal hit, and create spells that deal in excess of 3K damage in a 500ft blast radius.
It's easier to use the Creation Kit too, since you can put the items directly into the game world, rather than open up the command line and keep typing in console commands every time you log in.
