Quickest way to Level Enchanting?
I was hoping to find a mod that might allow you to enchant a little quicker. as I am impatient.
I can just hit enter a lot when crafting armor, but with enchanting i have to keep reclicking anything.
Perhaps a mod that keeps the soul gem enchantment and item selected so you can keep crafting the same item over and over without having to reselect everything. I thought about bulk crafting but I think that's too much perhaps?

What is the best enchantment to use to level the fastest? Vanilla Skyrim wise?

Doesn't it scale with item value? If so, try 'Banish Daedra' and 'Fear' on Iron Daggers. Worked always for me.
yeah such a mod would be convenient. sadly i dont know of one.

i personally never enchant weapons to level because that requires even more clicks/key presses :D

This might fit your style if you have Azura's Star, though it's easier with the The Black Star

I know there are all kinds of ways to spam enchanting -- this one seems most fun since you'll be in combat anywa -- as such it's not really exploiting much.

There is also a mod to adjust your enchanting power (among other things) -- I think it's part of ACE and you don't needto install ASIS for that part I believe.

When I use it for enchanting I just increase the value to 50% or such for strong enchantments at an early level. It won't help with dual enchants though -- you'll still need the LV 100 perk, or get another mod where ya don't.

AT the other extreme, you can just enchant with console

Enchanting is easy to get to 100.

First you need to complete the quest Lost to the Ages which you can start by reading a book in the Arcanaeum which is located at the College of Winterhold.

As part of the quest you will have to choose between three items. Choose the Aetherial Crown.

The Aetherial Crown allows you to store a second standing stone on it.

Store The Lover Stone on it. That way equipping the crown will grant a 15% bonus to all skills. Combine the Aetherial Crown with the Mage Stone.

Using these two standing stones will give you a 35% bonus to Mage Skills.

Unequip the Aetherial Crown and go to sleep at an inn. You will receive the 10% sleeping bonus. Re-equip the Aetherial Crown and you will now get a 45% bonus to all mage skills.

When you have this bonus go spam enchanting and your skill will raise very quickly.

This works for raising most skills when the Aetherial Crown is combined with the proper guardian stone.

The item value changes, but the experience doesn't.
My method for leveling chanting does not involve the Aetherial Crown, or any other artifact. Getting the Mage Stone or Lovers Stone does help though. Here is what I do:

Don't try to level it all at once.

No, that's not a troll, just a fact of the game. I hate grinding, and I've learned to avoid it when I can. Enchanting (along with Alchemy and Smithing) are inherently grindy, and trying to level it all in one go is just going to be a grind. So level bit by bit as you progress through the game.

You get as much XP from enchanting with a petty gem as with a grand gem, so save you grand and black gems for those items you craft for actual usage. Buy petty soul gems from mages to keep your stock up. Then as you wonder the woods of Skyrim, soul trap a few deer along the way. When you get home, enchant a few daggers or tunics or shoes. Just do a little at a time, and it won't feel like a grind.
Gaining Skill XP

A few basic tips to increasing your Enchanting skill are as follows:
Crafting enchanted items gives the biggest overall skill increases. The highest experience per soul gem to doing this is to enchant armor pieces with either the Muffle or Waterbreathing effect, as these effects use their maximum power even when using petty soul gems.
Enchanting an iron dagger using petty soul gems with Damage Stamina or Turn Undead will yield a weapon that can be sold for more than the cost of the material used.

Disenchanting items gives highly variable skill increases, dependent on the effect learned and the magnitude on the item, with apparel effects generally giving larger increases than weapon effects. Only one item per effect may ever be disenchanted, however.
Recharging enchanted weapons using Soul Gems gives small-to-moderate skill increases, based on the size of the soul used. It does not matter how many charges there are left on the weapon. Using Azura's Star or the Black Star and a weapon with a Soul Trap effect, you can train by recharging the weapon after every kill without having to worry about soul gems.
Using The Mage Stone and a sleeping bonus (such as Well Rested) will increase the experience you gain per enchantment.

or just cheat

This is what you are looking for if patience is not one of your virtues. All you require is 1 gold ore, and a forge, once you install this mod. Note: it works on all skill trees, so if cheating is not your thing leave it alone.
I would like to level enchanting to Legendary 1 at some point. (max it out three times and leave it at a hundred on the third.)
SO hmmm, the 45% bonus sounds good.

the ring is tempting but the only thing I really consider "cheating" at is carry weight. I have bandoliers and a havens bag to deal with too much weight. among a few other minor things.
I equiped the crown and activated both stones. but it removes one anyway. am i doing something wrong?

does the rested percentage change with difficulty? I know I'm playing one higher then normal, and i am only getting 5% bonus from rested.
I think I get the crown.
1. Equip crown and go to stone you want to have on the crown. Activate stone.
2. Unequip crown.
3. Go to stone you want to keep as active effect. Activate stone.
4. Re-equip crown. now both effects are active.

wish the game told you that's how it works instead of making you think you just leave the crown on.

Most people call that "cheating". Go look up the word.
