Info on Cloaks
I'm running the mod Cloaks for Skyrim and still haven't found a way to craft or enchant a cloak. Is crafting cloaks and enchanting them something that can be done?

Complete Crafting Overhaul is just one of many that allow you to craft all kinds of stuff
Or Immersive Armors. I use both so I'm not sure but I think both allow it.

Not possible to craft with that mod, you collect them from wherever and they're disenchantable those that have enchantments. You can also enchant those without just like any other enchantable item at an enchanting table.

Instructions how to craft cloaks with Cloaks of Skyrim is deviously hidden in the Description page of that mod. Who would have ever figured out to look it from there?

We have to make a serious complain about the matter.

go to the tanning rack to make cloaks.

@theNovemberman - I tried the tanning racks but have yet to see the option avavilable.

@IIja - I'll re-read the MOD description.

I did go for sarcasm, but did not mean to sound like a smartass. I might have sounded like that anyway.

From the page:
:: CRAFTING ::

So you want to craft a cloak? Version 1.2 sees a few changes to make crafting slightly more involved than linen wrap-hoarding. You'll still need linen wraps, but also a few other bits and pieces. The most important of these is a book - Fryssa the Wide's Nordic Tailoring - a long-winded historical text that will allow you to craft capes and cloaks at the tanning rack and spinning wheel. Without this book in your inventory, you won't be able to craft any cloaks or capes, keeping clutter on the tanning rack to a minimum. Keep an eye out for the book on your travels.

To craft hide and burlap items, you'll need to head to the tanning rack. For the more up-market linen cloaks and capes, you'll need to find a spinning wheel in likely locations such as the College of Winterhold or Radiant Raiment. Dragonsreach also has one.

As mentioned above, Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade allows you to craft cloaks with or without the book.

Honestly I didn't take it badly. Thanks for posting up though.

Pffft, real men don't read manuals.

So thats what that damn Nordic Tailoring book is for..

I used a cloak mod which has them made from silk.
They look great but the modder used that much starch in them they are stiff as a post.
Bend over(crouch/sneak) they didn't flop around you, just hanged straight out or disappear into the ground. Came through your shoulder armour (not over)and no movement at all, even in windy conditions.
Still looking for the prefect cloak mod, must be fussy.

Perfect cloak mod is (IMO) compatible with this.
In our neighborhood, we have waving cloaks and we say "no" to clipping.

I use this for male character and Victorias High Heel walk Animation for female. Of course this looks very good with females as well, but I am too used to the walk animation.

Thank IIja I will store this info as still have an issue with windows program (not steam or games) but it is a licence issue, had it before I formatted computer and reloaded everything. It keeps saying need to have windows explorer 7 plus to use, I am on 11. When sorted back to skyrim proper.
I am looking at all mods, they are the closest to what I want, don't want real heavy looking cloaks just light in weight and texture.

I have never found out what is causing that. If I find something, then I promise to post about it.

It is in windows media just wants it for some music but other music tracks plays find. Games are OK , but the other programs I have used are now expired and need to pay to download again (trying to cut exspenses).
I copy my CDs to computer and play them there, 'private use only' before format OK, now not so.
