My Wife Aela The Huntress calling me Brother...
My Wife Aela The Huntress calling me Brother, After completing the Companions Quest line
i married Aela and she is still calling me "Brother" as idel chat or if i hit her.
(i don't condone hitting any women but she got in the way of my sword...)
She says "Somthing has shifted in the moons, Brother." and "Watch it There, Brother"

Anyone know how to fix this?, and yes it can be fixed she diden't call my brother on my first Dragonborn.
I have completed: The Companions Quest line, 1 Totum Quest and 1 Purity Quest.:whiterun:
I just want this fixed because its kinda creepy.

I guess it could be worse; she could be calling you Daddy. Is your Dragonborn named Jamie Lannister by any chance? JK

That would be odd, I have not ever married her in game so don't know what she calls you when married to her. You can probably edit her faction alignment to the player in the CK to see you only as a spouse over a member of the companions. That might mess up any missions she give to however, so maybe hold off on that until you get all the totems from her. If you have them all then I don't think that would mess anything up in game. I haven't looked but maybe there is already a mod for that even.

When you marry an NPC there are additions to their dialog, but their default dialog remains.

she likely means it in the sense of "brother in arms", "shield-brother", etc. it's a Companion thing

When you married her before, was it before, durring, or after completing the Companians questline?

Both times i have married Aela it was after the quest line in the middle of Totum quests.

Well, if that is the case then I would say that you definately have a scripting/faction glitch. Can you revert to an earlier save to before you wed her?

I don't recommend console commands because they have a tendency to screw up the game down the road.

"With Dawnguard installed and after having completed the first stage of Blood's Honor, she should introduce you to the werewolf perk tree, but instead repeats the first bit of dialogue ("Something has shifted in the moons, brother/sister.") as you walk nearby." UESPWiki Aela The Huntress Bugs. found the glitch and the fix.
