I need help removing dirt from NPCs
I use CBBE (never nude) and SOS (Never Nude) so that NPCs look less like hideous monstrosities. I also use a smooth texture for the male bodys and a better face texture for the males as well. However I have had no luck finding a good face texture for females. Males in my game no longer have dirty faces and they look like their bodys match their faces. However Females all have super clean and smooth bodys....with faces that look like they where eating mud pies. It's driving me crazy! I've tried http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3628/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14569/? but neither removed the dirt from female faces. Anyone know how to fix this?

it should have remove the dirt from their faces. It's a scripting error. unistall CBBE, play the game and after about a minute or so, save, exit the game, and run verify cache and reinstall CBBE

lol, what? scripting error? No, it's not. CBBE doesn't really touch on the faces of characters, it's mostly just the body.

@OP The second link you gave should have worked. If you actually want the NPCs to look like babyface anime girls though. Or try Bella Females or Coverwomen. If you still find the NPCs faces look ugly then it's something wrong with your install

- CBBE has an option to turn dirt to beauty marks. If that does not clean farces with dirt, then either your installation still busted or something is overwriting face textures in your Data folder.

- I am using SG Female Textures Renewal. As a RaceMenu user, I extracted meshes from ECE and made a mod out of them. I haven't found anything worth of complaining. I was previously using Navatsea's outstanding work, but those textures are not really compatible with current version of CBBE.

- If you are still displeased, then you might wish to share some screenshots with us to point out the problems. We might get better idea for what you are after, if you show us what you already got.

CBBE V3.2.1 or 3.3 come bundled with a set of face textures. I'll grant that his issue is still not likely to be a scripting problem, but CBBE does indeed 'touch the face' if you install the Caliente's bundled facepack.

I use two things to improve my face textures:

SG Female Texture Renewal
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/?

and

XCE: Xenius Character Enhancement
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2356/?

Place xce.esp at the very bottom of your load order, unless you use a Bash Patch, in which case the Batch Patch goes last. This will not remove all dirt, but it will remove or mute the colors of most dirty faces to make them more palatable. As far as I know, the only other way to change or remove Overlays, Make-up, Warpaint or Dirt on an NPC is with the Creation Kit or using an NPC overhaul mod like Skyrim Beautiful Followers.

llja CBBE's Dirt to beauty marks on affects PC not NPC. It says so in the discription. I'm fine with the face textures of females I just want to get rid of the DIRT on their faces.

You are correct. I have made separate mods from several other mods and resources. I checked CBBE resources from MO before replying, but didn't think that the were so far customized. My custom CBBE setup affects to selected NPCs as well.

I haven't really cleaned many faces from dirt. I have made few cleanups for characters and included the data to separate mod. Dirt on their faces is fine and gives character, but becomes a bit strange if they are living in a mansion with my character. I add the cleaned data to MO, when NPCs stop running around Skyrim.

About textures, your the one who pointed them out, so I just told you what I am using instead. No need to shout.

I wasn't shouting -.- I was hightlighting the importent bits. I said textures because I tried finding textures that would also change the dirt textures with no luck.
